County Commissioner Accused Of Vehicular Homicide In Death Of Lakefield Man

November 22, 2014

(New Ulm, Mn.)– The case of a Blue Earth county commissioner accused of vehicular homicide will be tried in Brown county after all three Blue Earth county judges recused themselves.

Bob Roberts faces four felony counts of criminal vehicular homicide as a result of an accident on Highway 60 last September. Authorities say Roberts drove away from the crash that killed Alan Soderholm of Lakefield.

A criminal complaint says Roberts’ blood alcohol concentration level was point-oh-eight two hours after the incident.

Roberts appears in Brown county district court February 7th.
