They’ll spend Tuesday and Wednesday in the nation’s capital meeting with the local congressional delegation on a number of issues, including upgrading Highway 86 between Highway Nine and the Minnesota border; the west Spencer bypass; the veteran’s outpatient clinic proposed for Spirit Lake; trails; funding assistance from the Department of Homeland Security for Dickinson county’s new Communications Center; and a sewer upgrade for the city of Spencer…along with other issues.
