November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– The Corridor of Opportunity has a new Assistant Director.

The economic development organization in Clay, Dickinson, Emmet and Buena Vista counties has hired Shaun Arneson to assist Executive Director Kathy Evert.

Evert says Arneson brings several years’ experience in economic development and working with business and industry in the region.

Arneson was most recently manager of business development for IOwa Lakes Electric Cooperative in Estherville. Prior to ILEC, he was the economic development coordinator for the city of Jackson, Minnesota.

He will begin his duties with the Corridor May 1st.

In addition, the Corridor has moved into a central office location in the Gateway North Mall in Spencer. An open house is planned for this summer.
