(Spencer)– The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation has announced this year’s recipients of Homegrown Talent grants.
They include Clayton Ehlers from Buena Vista county, who plans to expand and diversify his family’s farming operation; Dalayna Brugman of Clay county, a Junior Hog Buyer at Tyson Fresh Meats in Storm Lake; Tyler Adams from Dickinson county, a Financial Representative with Prairie Plans Asset Management; and Morgan White-Muller of Emmet county, who grew up outside of Estherville and returned to the area after graduating college. She is now a lawyer with the Fitzgibbons Law Firm in Estherville.
The program offers an incentive to young people who grew up in the corridor region to come back after graduating from college.
The grant awards are raised through the Corridor’s annual Homegrown Talent Initiative Golf Tournament. This year’s event will be held July 24th in Storm Lake.
