Clay Regional Water now Iowa Lakes Regional Water

November 22, 2014

The organization known as Clay Regional Water is no more. As of Saturday the organization is called Iowa Lakes Regional Water. Director Elizabeth Johansen tells KUOO News the name change reflects the growth of the service area since it was formed 29 years ago. Iowa Lakes Regional Water serves Dickinson, Clay, Emmet, Palo Alto, Buena Vista, Cherokee, and O’Brien county Iowa and Jackson County, Minnesota; and is considering an expansion into Pocohantes county.
