(Spencer)– A traffic stop east of Peterson in Clay county has resulted in numerous charges against a Calumet woman.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it all stems from April 20th of this year when a deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Maegan Schroeder of Calumet. She was initially cited for failure to properly secure a child and providing false information of who she was.
This past Friday a deputy arrested Schroeder and charged her with obstructing justice, malicious prosecution, failure to secure a child, failure to use a safety belt, failure to file S-R Insurance and driving while suspended.
