City Of Arnolds Park To Review Transient Merchant Ordinance After Upcoming Season

April 14, 2022 Steve Schwaller

(Arnolds Park)– The city of Arnolds Park will be reviewing its transient merchant ordinance following the upcoming season. Councilman Jim Jensen addressed the matter at Wednesday’s City Council meeting, saying he has some concerns over the current policy…

“There’s plenty of places to rent storefronts so that we don’t have trailers and sheds and everything else dropping all over town. So I, this year to be fair, we have to go along with it. But I’d really like to bring it back in the fall and look at it in depth and see what we want to do as far as in the future with transient merchants.”

Other council members agreed with Jensen. The council plans to address the matter this coming September or October.
