(Jackson, Mn.)– A car-deer accident early this (Friday) morning on Interstate 90 in Jackson county sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 21-year-old Adrians Mitchem of Niagara, Wisconsin was driving a 1996 Ford westbound on I-90 at mile marker 58 when he collided with a deer. A passenger in Mitchem’s vehicle, 21-year-old Terri Skog of Iron Mountain, Michigan, was taken to the Worthington Regional Hospital with a non-incapacitating injury. No injuries were reported to Mitchem.
The crash took place shortly after 3:00 a.m.
Severe damage was reported to the vehicle.
