(Spencer)– A Spencer man was injured when a car collided with the bicycle he was riding shortly before 7:30 this (Monday) morning at the intersection of Grand Avenue and West Seventh Street.
Police say 18-year-old Tyson Zellaha of Spencer was driving a 1991 Ford eastbound on West Seventh Street and was making a left-hand turn onto Grand Avenue when he collided with a bike that was crossing Grand Avenue westbound. The bicyclist, 46-year-old Wayne Davis of Spencer, was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
No injuries were reported to Zellaha who was charged with failure to yield.
