Authorities Investigate Thefts From Casino Construction Site

November 22, 2014

(Emmetsburg)– Emmetsburg police are investigating several thefts from the construction site of the Wild Rose Casino.

On Monday, police took two separate theft complaints from contractors working on the casino–the Weldinger Corporation of Des Moines reported the theft of 15 sheets of stainless steel valued at four thousand dollars. And Gadbury Plumbing and Heating of Fort Dodge reported the theft of a 55-gallon barrel of copper pipe valued at 500-dollars. The company also had a two-thousand dollar drill stolen from the site in late February.

Anyone with information about the thefts should contact the Emmetsburg Police Department.
