(Sibley)– A farming accident in Osceola county has claimed the life of an Ashton man.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 68-year-old Lionel Pederson of Ashton was killed when a rogator operated by Anthony Strouth drove over him while he was working in a field southeast of Sibley.
Pederson was pronounced dead in the mishap, which took place shortly after noon today (Monday).
Authorities say Pederson and Strouth were employed by the United Farmers Co-op of Ashton.
