Area High School Tennis and Golf Results (UPDATED)

In high school sports action Thursday, the Spirit Lake-Okoboji boys tennis team lost a hard fought dual with LeMars 8-1, as the Bulldogs improved to 4-0. Nelson Davis secured the lone win for SL-O, taking down Josh Meridith in the number three singles match. On the links the Harris-Lake Park boys and girls golf team earned dual meet wins over Clay Central Everly. The boys, behind Nathan Kyle’s nine-over-par 45 and Austin Jacobsen’s 48, were 31 strokes better than the Mavericks. The Lady Wolves won by 28 shots, with Samantha Brueggeman’s 58 leading the charge.
