Alpha, Mn. Man Injured In Snowmobile Mishap

(Alpha, Mn.)– An Alpha, Minnesota man was injured late Thursday afternoon after losing control of a snowmobile he was operating.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Travis Broesder was eastbound on a 1996 Arctic Cat in the south ditch of County State Aid Highway 14 in Wisconsin Township when he lost control on some ice. The sled rolled over on Broesder. He was taken by ambulance to the Jackson Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.

The mishap took place around 5:00 p.m. and remains under investigation.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Alpha Fire Department, Jackson Ambulance Service and the Minnesota State Patrol.
