(Ocheyedan)– We reported Monday on an investigation into a theft and fraud case in Osceola county. Since then, we’ve learned of some additional details.
Officials now say former Ocheyedan City Clerk Stacy Terrill is at the center of the investigation. Terrill abruptly resigned from her position at a special city council meeting December 3rd.
Authorities executed a search warrant on Terrill’s residence this past weekend at 977 Cherry Street in Ocheyedan. A number of financial records were seized.
Officials are looking into what they say are questionable credit card transactions.
No charges have been filed yet in the case, which remains under investigation.
