(Marquette)– A phase of the easterly expansion of the Tatanka Ska Trace rail trail is getting a financial boost. The Iowa Transportation Commission today (Tues.) approved a $475,000 grant to the Dickinson County Trails Board.
The funding will go toward phase 5a for a section of trail along former railroad right-of-way between Orleans and Highway 71 west of Superior.
