(Arnolds Park)– Northwest Financial Corporation announced Friday it’s charter bank, First National Bank in Creston, has entered into an agreement to purchase Century Bank in Shenandoah, Iowa. The acquisition is pending regulatory approval.
Northwest Financial intends to complete the purchase by April 17th, 2020.
Northwest Financial Corp. is owned by brothers Neal and Dwight Conover and their families. The two bank financial services holding companies is comprised of Northwest Bank and First National Bank in Creston. They collectively hold close to two billion in assets and have 23 offices in western Iowa and eastern Nebraska.
Other entities within Northwest Financial Corp. include Northwest Wealth Management LLC and Northwest Insurance Services.
