(Estherville)– The Powersports program at Iowa Lakes Community College is getting a boost.
The college’s board of trustees this week approved an in-kind donation to the program from POET Bioprocessing of Emmetsburg. The company has donated a 2024 Can-Am Defender, valued at $15,000.
Dan Lutat, executive director of the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation and governmental relations, says it will provide the Powersports program a recent-model-year platform for hands-on student training.
The Powersports program is offered at the Iowa Lakes Community College campus in Emmetsburg.
