(Undated)– The latest beach monitoring information from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources was issued Thursday. For the first time in several weeks, all of the swimming beaches in the Iowa Great Lakes are listed as satisfactory for swimming.
That includes Crandall’s Beach on the north side of Big Spirit Lake, where swimming previously had not been recommended over the past couple of weeks due to high levels of E-coli bacteria.
