(Jackson, Mn.)– The start of county fair season is about a month away. The 2026 Jackson County Fair will run from Tuesday, July 28th through Saturday, August 1st. Teri Bargfrede of the Jackson County Fair Board says they’ve made a few changes and additions for this year’s event…
“We’ve moved our talent show to Tuesday evening after ladies BINGO hoping to draw some more participation with that. Thinking a week day might be better for people. Adding a touch a truck, we’re adding, the National Guard Armory is going to open up the vehicles they have on site on Friday and then they’re going to add a rock wall so people can go in and check out those different vehicles they’ll have up there. We’re really trying to honor America this year with our 250th year, trying to recognize that as much as we can. We’re going to try to do some promotions for veterans.”
