(Milford)– Work on a National Fitness Campaign Court at Buchanan Park in Milford is about to kick into high gear. Jason Simpson serves on the city’s Parks Board…
“At our last Park Board meeting we just picked out the mural designs that go on the dividing wall for that. The one side’s going to have the mural design, on the other side there’s going to be opportunities for businesses or people just in general that want to sponsor part of that National Fitness Campaign. We’ll be taking donations for that if they want to and their name will end up being put on that wall. That’s pretty cool. That’s getting ready to start here at the end of June, in fact.”
The project is also being made possible in large part through a national grant the city of Milford received.
