(Graettinger)– The Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire School Boards held a joint public meeting Tuesday evening to address financial discrepancies in sharing agreements dating back to 2022.
A third party consultant has been hired to review the records and report its findings. That report is expected in coming days. Meanwhile Graettinger-Terril Superintendent Marshall Lewis told news partner KTIV the concerns being expressed are very valid…
“It’s valid. We want to make sure we are addressing things and keeping us open and accessible and serving students and we’ve got a fantastic board. They’re very caring people. We’ve got a great district office working with me, the couple of gals that were sitting up here with me, really enjoy that. And, you know, we’re really going to learn a lot.”
Several who spoke at the meeting indicated they were frustrated over the situation and called on better transparency from school officials.
