The Dickinson County Nature Center is bringing back Nature Explorers. Amy Heibult, Community Relations Coordinator for the Nature Center, says its fun to bring something back to the community that they have enjoyed in the past…
“We’re really excited to offer this series again for our summer months. For five to twelve year olds, they can come out pre-register online. This year’s theme is Nature Mysteries. And so every session is going to have a puzzling question that that participants will have to solve. This is kind of a fun one because our teacher, extern is going to be also planning this as well as our naturalist intern. So they’re still kind of planning out the details, but we’re excited that these are sessions that are supposed to kind of intrigue students and get them curious about our natural world.”
Heibult talks about when this will be offered…
“It will be offered every Wednesday from mid June to early August, and it’ll run for about an hour. Adults do not need to attend, so it’s a good time to run errands and still keep the kids active and explore Kenue Park.”
The Nature Explorer Series starts on June 10th and will be held from 10:30 to 11:30. Registration is required and you can do that at dickinsoncountynconservationboard.com
