Feb. 21st Eggs & Issues To Be First Session With New Format

February 20, 2026

(Spencer)– Another Eggs and Issues legislative forum will be held Saturday (Feb. 21st) in Spencer.

As we reported previously, a new format is being implemented for the sessions. Sheriffa Jones is the Director of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce, which puts on the forums. She says the changes will be in effect for Saturday’s (Feb. 21st) Eggs and Issues…

“Really what we’re looking at is we’re not only going to have our local legislators on hand, but also some local subject matter experts that will be available. That first portion of Eggs and Issues will really be a conversation and educational opportunity. The public can still be here but for local subject experts and also for legislators to be able to talk in depth about a given subject, and then for the second half it’s going to be more of a Q and A session.”

The forum will run from 9:00 until 10:30 am in the council chambers at Spencer City Hall. All questions need to be submitted in writing ahead of time.
