(Spencer)– The Spencer Chamber of Commerce is changing the format of its “Eggs and Issues” legislative forums. Chamber Director Sheriffa Jones says there will now be an issue-based topic for the first half of the forums, with submitted questions in the second half. Questions can be submitted to the Spencer Chamber ahead of time or at the beginning of each session.
Jones says the changes will provide clarity on complex policy issues while offering meaningful engagement. She says they want local leaders and the business community to clearly communicate how decisions made the statehouse affect everyone locally.
The next Eggs & Issues forum is coming up this Saturday, February 21st , in the council chambers at Spencer City Hall.
