(Spencer)– The Clay County Long Term Recovery Group has announced the hiring of several staff members who will lead and support the county’s ongoing disaster recovery initiatives following the June 22nd flood.
Sheriffa Jones has been appointed Director of the group; Alison Munter has been hired as Operations Assistant and Megan Hanges will serve as Logistics and Volunteer Coordinator.
Jones says Munter has a background in interpersonal communication and human resources that will help bring effective operational management to the Long Term Recovery Group. She says Hanges played a critical role in the early flood response, organizing food distribution, clothing and essential supplies.
