(Milford)– The Milford City Council will meet this (Mon.) evening with representatives of the Iowa Department of Transportation regarding Highway 71 through that town. They’ll discuss plans to reduce the road from four lanes to three, with a left-hand turn lane, in hopes of making the road through town safer, especially in the downtown area where there is parallel parking on both side of the busy road.
The Milford City Council convenes at 6:30 this (Mon.) evening in the Board Room of the Milford Community Center.
