(Orleans)– The access road to Hales Slough on the northeast side of Big Spirit Lake will be closed for a few days next week.
Officials with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources say the road will be closed beginning Monday, October 21st. They say the repairs should be completed with the road reopening by Thursday, October 24th.
Some culverts are also being installed as part of the project.
