Emmet County Drug Arrests

(Estherville)– Some additional drug arrests have been made in Emmet county.

Sheriff Mike Martens says 32-year-old Rachel Bryant of Armstrong was taken into custody October 7th at 110 4th Avenue in Armstrong. Martens says Bryant was wanted on a warrant for conspiracy to deliver schedule one, two and three controlled substances, a class “C” felony. Bryant was booked into the Emmet county jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. Martens says it’s part of an on-going investigation into illegal drug activity.

In another case, a Savage, Minnesota woman was arrested during a traffic stop October 11th in Emmet county. The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle for speeding in the 4900 block of Highway 9 and seized controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Authorities say 21-year-old Hailey Hawk attempted to escape while being taken into custody. She was ultimately subdued and was transported to jail on charges of speeding, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…1st offense, possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts and escape from custody. She was being held in the Emmet County Jail on a $3,000 cash or surety bond.
