(Okoboji)– In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Parks Marina announced the donation of $1,105 to the Spencer Hospital Abben Cancer Center in Spencer, Iowa. The Marina was able to raise these funds through limited edition Barefoot Bar t-shirt sales.
“This continues to be a great tradition for our companies to make an impact during breast cancer awareness month.” Debbie Parks, director of marketing for Parks Marina properties, said. “Our customers and staff are committed to the fight against breast cancer!”
The Barefoot Bar is excited to announce its new limited edition t-shirt for 2024, which is available in store and online. A portion of sales from the shirts will again be donated in support of breast cancer research.
This October, all Marina District locations, which include the Gardens in the Central Emporium, Snappers at Parks Marina, the Fish Shack at Okoboji Boat Works, and O’Farrell Sisters will also be serving a featured “Boobie Drink” with a portion of proceeds to be generously matched by Smirnoff Pink Lemonade Vodka and donated alongside the T-Shirt sales.
