(Des Moines)– The Iowa Supreme Court is hearing oral arguments in a case involving the proposed Summit Carbon Solutions Pipeline tomorrow (Tuesday.).
In the case, Homeowner Kent Kasischke, says the law that gives Summit the right to survey his land, is unconstitutional. Kasischke also argues that Summit does not qualify to be labeled a pipeline company under Iowa law.
Earlier in the year, South Dakota’s high court ruled against the company on similar claims, while North Dakota ruled against landowners.
Iowa’s high court will hear the arguments tomorrow (Tuesday) evening beginning at 7 o’clock.
