(Algona)– The outgoing Director of the Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation has received a special honor. Maureen Elbert has been awarded with Life Member Status with the Professional Developers of Iowa. Elbert was honored for contributions to the organization and profession. She received the recognition at the group’s Fall Conference last month in Marshalltown.
Elbert is retiring from the Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation. An open house in her honor will be held November 15th from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at the Kossuth County Elections Center in Algona.
