Search Of Residence Lands Two People In Jail On Drug Charges

(Armstrong)– Drug charges have been filed against two people in connection with a search warrant executed on a residence in Armstrong. The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was at that residence September 25th investigating an unrelated matter and noticed some drug paraphernalia. The search turned up controlled substances and additional drug paraphernalia.

58-year-old Scott Larson, who lives at the residence, was arrested along with 32-year-old Rachel Bryant of Swea City. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say Bryant was also wanted on two active warrants from Kossuth county.

Larson and Bryant were both booked into jail.
