Crash On I-90 In Jackson County Results In Injuries

(Lakefield, Mn.)– A single vehicle crash a little before 5:00 am Monday on Interstate 90 in Jackson county sent two people to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 54-year-old Virgil Woods of Elkton, Maryland was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup eastbound at milepost 58 when he lost control after swerving to miss a deer. The vehicle left the road and rolled.

Woods and a passenger, 58-year-old Raymond Woods of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, were taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital. Their injuries were described as non-life threatening.
