Estherville City Council Member Wants To See Efforts Stepped Up To Bring A Theatre To That City

(Estherville)– An Estherville City Council member wants to see more of a push to get a movie theatre back into that town. Councilman David Hovinga brought up the matter at the conclusion of Monday’s city council meeting…

“We are really at a lack without a movie theatre and having to go elsewhere for those things. Even if it was a second run theatre where it’s not first run movies but cheaper second run ones and things like that. I think that if there’s any way that we as a council can do something to move forward with a committee or something that can help push that, that would be ideal.”

No action was taken as the matter wasn’t on the agenda.
