Several Disaster Recovery Centers In NW Iowa Will Permanently Close Next Week

(Des Moines)– Disaster Recovery Centers in several northwest Iowa counties will be permanently closing next week.

Centers in Cherokee and Emmet counties will close for good at 6:00 pm Wednesday, August 28th. The Disaster Recovery Center in O’Brien county will shut down permanently at 6:00 pm Friday, August 30th.

Centers in Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, Lyon, Palo Alto and Sioux counties will remain open for now.
