(Arnolds Park)– City officials in Arnolds Park have set the dates for some public hearings on a voluntary annexation request. It’s for Emerald Estates, a residential development proposed for some land just east of Emerald Hills Golf Course. That parcel currently is outside of city limits.
A consultation hearing with other taxing entities is set for this coming Wednesday, August 21st. A hearing before the Arnolds Park City Council is set for 5:30 pm Wednesday, October 9th.
The project will include 96 to 97 lots. Developers say it would expand the city’s property tax base by more than $70 million.
