(Spirit Lake)– A sealcoat project is about to get underway in Spirit Lake. City officials say the work will be taking place on a number of streets south of Highways 9 & 71. The operations are scheduled to begin Tuesday (Aug. 9th), with the work to continue over the next couple of days.
Officials say no on-street parking will be allowed on the streets affected until the work is done. They add that written notices have gone out in the affected areas of the city, and that signage is in place.
Plans call for the contractor doing the work to move from east to west.
