(Estherville)– The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a traffic stop in the early morning hours of July 30th that resulted in the arrest of an Estherville man.
Authorities say a deputy conducted the stop after noticing a vehicle speeding in the 3400 block of Highway 9 west of Estherville. Upon investigating it was discovered the driver, 18-year-old Christian Jesus Lopez-Bartolon, was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was charged with possession of marijuana…2nd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of tobacco as a minor, and speeding.
