(Spencer)– Multiple drug charges have been filed against two Missouri men following a traffic stop this past Friday in the 3000 mile of Clay County Road N-14.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted the stop for an alleged speeding violation and observed alcohol in the vehicle and could smell marijuana coming from it. A search turned up a little more than 13 grams of THC wax, two capsules of methylphenidate hydrochloride, drug paraphernalia, tobacco products and beer.
The driver, 19-year-old Luke Harms of Kansas City, Missouri, and a passenger, 19-year-old William Moorhead of Platte City, Missouri, were arrested. Harms was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of methylphenidate hydrochloride, possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of tobacco, minor in possession of alcohol and speeding. Moorhead was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of tobacco and minor in possession of alcohol. Both were booked into the Clay county jail.
