(Spirit Lake)– Lakes Regional Healthcare has been rated a five-star hospital for the third year in a row by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ website.
The CMS Care Compare program reports on quality measures for more than 4,000 hospitals nationwide.
Roughly 13 percent of hospitals in the country achieve the five-star rating. It’s based on several categories, including safety, readmissions, mortality, patient experience, and timely and effective care.
