Emmet County Traffic Stop Results In Arrest

(Estherville)– A traffic stop earlier this month in Emmet county resulted in the arrest of a Swea City man. The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle around midnight July 16^th for speeding in the 5000 block of Highway 9. The deputy noticed contraband in the vehicle. A search turned up a vape pen with THC in it, along with other tobacco vape devices. The driver, 20-year-old Caeden Sandvig, was arrested and booked into jail on charges of possession of marijuana…THC…1^st offense; possession of tobacco vapes…1^st offense; and was given a written warning for speeding.
