(Sibley)– No one was hurt this past Friday when a pickup collided with a tractor pulling a disc mower on Highway 9 west of Ocheyedan.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Justin Wagenaar of Sibley was driving a 1976 International tractor with a mower attached and a 17-year-old from Sheldon was driving a 2008 Dodge Ram. Authorities say the pickup collided with the rear of the tractor and mower.
Damage to the pickup was estimated at $10,000 with about $8,000 in damage estimated to the disc mower.
The teen was cited for following too closely.
The Ocheyedan Fire Department assisted on the scene.
