(Everly)– An Everly man was arrested over the weekend after authorities received a report of the unauthorized use of a credit card.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Alexander Plemmons was taken into custody shortly before 1:00 pm Saturday at the Everly City Park. He was booked into the Clay county jail on a charge of unlawful use of a credit or debit card and theft in the 5th degree. Plemmons was being held on a $2,000 cash or surety bond.
Authorities say the investigation stemmed from a complaint they received on July 11th of this year in which some unauthorized charges appeared on the card.
