(Milford)– The city of Milford is looking for a new Police Chief.
An email statement from city officials says the city council accepted Chief Bob Clark’s retirement letter, dated July 12th, 2022, in a special session session at noon today (Friday). The statement says “the city will be actively searching to fill the position left by Chief Clark in the coming days.”
It goes on to say “the council appreciates the years of service to the community and the Iowa Great Lakes Area that he served for the last 32 years in law enforcement.”
The statement adds that city staff is working on finalizing a retirement party in Clark’s honor, with details to be announced at a later date.
