The Okoboji Jeep Club will host the Blue Water 4 x 4 Show on Saturday.
Organizer Clint Badberg says all kinds of vehicles will be on display. “Primarily, it’s not so much a car show as it is a gathering of 4×4 vehicles. So, it’s not just Jeep vehicles even though The Okoboji Jeep Club is the host club. So, if you have a Toyota, if you have a Chevy Blazer or a Ford Bronco, or anything like that, you’re more than welcome to attend. We hope to see as many variety of vehicles as we possibly can.”
He notes that the show is open to the public. “People that want to just come and take a look, they certainly can. It’s $20, is the registration fee for anyone who wants to register a vehicle that would be eligible for trophies, and 80% of that registration fee goes to support Siouxland Soldiers. The other 20% is rolled back into the Club to help pay for this event. We also have a special raffle that’s $5 per ticket, a general raffle that’s $1 per ticket and we have a lot of really cool silent auction items.”
