(Okoboji)– The Planning and Zoning Commission for the city of Okoboji has put forth a recommendation to the city council that would result in some additional hoops to jump through for anyone planning to develop a campground or R-V park in a commercially zoned area of the city. The city council Tuesday set August 1st as the date for a special meeting to hold a public hearing on the proposed change, saying they want the matter expedited. That’s the earliest the council could hold the meeting and still meet the necessary requirements for public notice of the hearing.
