(Emmetsburg)-A rising Country Star will perform at the Wild Rose in Emmetsburg tonight. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Emmetsburg will present a concert featuring Alex Miller and his band Friday night.
Miller says appearing on Season 19 of American Idol gave his career a big boost. “Yeah, it’s been like going on a roller coaster.”
Miller was recently signed to Jam Records, and has released a new album called Miller Time. “It’s an accumulation of songs that I’ve written personally and things that I’ve listened to and enjoyed. It’s a good little combination. It really does speak about me, it’s me in music form, I’d like to say, and being Alex Miller, I didn’t know what else to name it than Miller Time, because I am singing country music after all.”
The free concert will start at 6 o’clock at the Wild Rose in Emmetsburg Friday evening. Miller will also perform at the Iowa State Fair August 12.
