(Des Moines)– Governor Kim Reynolds has appointed Robert Tiefenthaler as a district court judge for Judicial Election District 3B. Tiefenthaler is from Sergeant Bluff and practices law in Sioux City. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and has a law degree from the University of South Dakota Law School.
Tiefenthaler fills a vacancy created by the upcoming retirement of District Court Judge Jeffrey Poulson.
Judicial Election District 3B is comprised of Crawford, Ida, Monona, Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury counties.
