(Undated)– Some Century Link customers have been experiencing a service outage over the past day or so. Officials say it’s due to a major cable cut in western Iowa.
It’s even affected 911 service in one area county. In Emmet county, Sheriff Mike Martens says 911 landline and cellular service as well as non-emergency contact numbers at the Sheriff’s Office were being affected. Those with emergency needs were being asked to call the Estherville Police Department administrative phone numbers of 712-362-3515 or 712-362-3516.
