(Spirit Lake)– It’s business as usual at the Dickinson County Courthouse after a malfunctioning fire alarm earlier today (Wednesday) prompted a response from the Spirit Lake Fire Department.
Firefighters were called to the courthouse around 8:15 am after getting a report of a smoke alarm going off in a restroom on the second floor. Fire Chief Pat Daly says fortunately it was just a false alarm and there was actually no fire or smoke.
The Spirit Lake Fire Department was on the scene a little more than a half hour.
